We had the most amazing Sunday morning. It was beautiful out so we decided a walk into the village would be good for our souls and our wastelines - well Mommy and Daddy anyways - not so much the kiddos as they got themselves a good 'ole Sunday morning breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. Emma housed a chocolate donut with chocolate frosting and sprinkles in about 2 minutes flat and Benjamin took his usual 40 minutes to eat a whole grain bagel plain - picking at it crumb by crumb until it became one again within his belly. (Mommy and Daddy ever so strong willed our desires and WATCHED our kids dine...)
From there we walked through the farmer's market, out onto the pier to see the new boats that had docked for the Summer, then up around East Main Street then over through the high school softball fields before heading back up the hill to the Penthouse. As we got home we wondered why we don't make this a habit. It is such a nice walk and the kids love that we do it as a family!
