Emma has had bloody nose after bloody nose the past few weeks. I finally busted out my WARM mist humidifier for the Winter, and wala! No more bloody noses. Her chapped lips have disappeared and her dry crusty nose is also gone. Toss your cool mist humidifiers in the trash, people! Warm misters are our best friends.
The only thing I have to be careful of is mold - the room they share is small and the moisture build quick. If I open the slider to the deck of their bedroom for a few minutes every morning it seems to not only give us a burst of fresh cold air, but keeps the moisture to a minimum. As we don't pay for the heat and it is quite powerful, I don't mind the cold blast every morning! Ha!
