We were nonstop yesterday starting with a 4th Birthday party for a pal at 1:00pm. We went as a family but that didn't last long. Ben had a serious case of the "cry cries" because he was in party mode from 3-4:30am and needed a nap. Daddy took Ben home and Emma and I partied the afternoon away playing on the giant blowup water slide thingy, eating pizza and cake, and of course, the pinata finale. It broke pretty quick and the kids dove in for the goods. Our precocious Emma picked up a lolly pop without a wrapper, walked up to the Dad of the party girl feeling ripped off and said, "Hey! This one doesn't have a wrapper and it's all dirty. I need a new one!" Can you see the expression on her face in the pic? That lolly was the culprit.
Daddy picked us up from the party at 4, we dropped the car back at our house, met up with pals and walked up the road to the giant Greek Festival that has been rocking for the past 4 days. We rode some rides, played some carnival games, and chowed some Greek eats, then headed back down the road to our house just as a GIANT storm hit the island.
